Mohidra Glass Industries

Mohidra Glass Industries is over in Jawahar Nagar. We are based at 4-U-A, in a building called Chadda Bhawan. If you’ve ever worked with glass, you know it’s a heavy and fragile business. Our space is usually filled with sheets of glass of all different sizes leaning against the walls. We’ve been in Chadda Bhawan for quite a few years now. It’s a practical location for us. The ground floor is where most of the heavy lifting happens, and we have a small corner for the administrative stuff. It’s always a bit dusty because of the cutting and polishing, but that’s just how it is. We wear our old clothes to work because there’s no point in trying to stay clean here. The crew is small, just a few guys who have been doing this for a long time. We don't have a fancy showroom or anything like that. If someone needs glass, they just come by and tell us the measurements they need. We do our best to get the cuts right the first time. Sometimes we have to deal with broken pieces, which is frustrating, but it’s just part of the trade. Jawahar Nagar is a good spot for us because it’s easy for the delivery trucks to get in and out. We aren't trying to change the world; we’re just cutting glass and making sure the customers get what they asked for. It’s honest, simple work.
