Modern Pest Control

Modern Pest Control is up on the ninth floor, room 901/94, in Nehru Place. Being in a big commercial hub like Nehru Place means we see a lot of office-related pest issues. You’d think these high-rise buildings wouldn’t have problems, but the ants and roaches find their way up somehow. Our office is a bit cramped with all the paperwork and the supplies we keep on hand. We spend a lot of time going from one floor to another or heading out to other parts of the city. Nehru Place is always loud and crowded, with people selling computers and electronics everywhere. It’s a bit of a maze getting around sometimes. We just do the basic work—spraying, putting down bait, and checking the traps. We don't use fancy slogans. If you have a problem with pests in your office or home, we just go and look at it. The elevators in this building are always slow, so we end up waiting around a lot, talking to the security guards or other workers. It’s just a normal job for us. We’ve been here for years, and the view from the ninth floor is okay, but we’re mostly focused on what’s happening on the floor level. It’s a practical way to spend the day, helping people keep their spaces a bit cleaner and free of unwanted visitors.
