M.M. Mobile Co. is tucked away in Shop No. 2 on the ground floor of Universe Plaza. We’re right on Saraswati Marg in the W.E.A. area, very close to Gaffar Market. If you know the area, you know how loud and packed it gets. There’s a constant stream of people looking for phones and accessories all day long. Our shop isn't huge, but we make the most of the space we have. The shelves are usually crammed with boxes and screens. It’s a bit of a squeeze when more than three people come in at once. We spend most of our time behind the counter fixing cracked screens or trying to figure out why a phone won't turn on. The noise from the street never really stops, but you get used to it after a week. Sometimes we run out of a specific part and have to send someone out to fetch it from another shop nearby. That's just how things work around here. It’s a fast-paced environment and we’re usually juggling three things at once. We don't have fancy uniforms or a corporate script. We just talk to people plainly and try to help them out with their tech. It's honest work and keeps us busy from morning until late evening. Gaffar Market is a unique place to be, and we're glad to have our little corner in Universe Plaza for the last several years.
