Shop No. 146 in Old Lajpat Rai Market is where we spend most of our waking hours. It’s a tiny space, but we’ve managed to cram a lot into it over the years. MLS Component Solutions Pvt. Ltd. is our little corner of the world. If you’ve ever been to the market, you know how crowded and loud it gets. It’s a maze of shops and people everywhere. We like it though. There’s an energy to it that you don’t get in a quiet office building. We sell components, mostly small parts that people need for repairs or building things. Our shelves are overflowing, and sometimes it takes us a minute to find exactly what someone is asking for. We don't have a fancy computer system to track everything; a lot of it is just stored in our heads. We’ve known the other shopkeepers around here for decades. We trade stories and help each other out when someone is short on change. It’s a community. We don’t do much in the way of promotion. People just know we’re here at 146. Some days are slow and we just sit on our stools and watch the crowd go by. Other days it's so frantic we don't even have time for a tea break. We aren't some big high-tech firm. We’re just a market shop doing our best to keep the stock moving and the customers sorted.
