Muiron Works

Muiron Works is tucked away at Plot No. 1/110 in Takia Kale Khan. We are right by Minto Road, which stays busy all the time. Being near the Barakhamba Metro Station means we hear the trains and the crowds constantly, but you get used to it after a week or two. The workshop is small and a bit cramped because we have so much iron and metal stuff leaning against the walls. It’s an old part of the city, so the building has those thick walls that stay a little cooler, though the forge and the welding keep things pretty warm regardless. Most of the time, the floor is covered in metal shavings and dust. We don't have a big sign or anything, just the work going on inside. If you come by, you'll see us bent over benches or moving heavy pipes around. We get a lot of walk-ins because of the location, people asking for small repairs or looking for specific parts. The light isn’t great inside, so we use these big hanging lamps that hum. We eat our lunch sitting on whatever crates are empty. It’s loud, dirty, and physically demanding, but we’ve been here for a while and know everyone in the neighborhood. The Metro is right there, so getting home is easy, but the work itself is the same every day—just cutting, bending, and fixing whatever comes through the door.
