Ministry Of Micro Small & Medium Enterprises

We work up on the 7th floor of Nirman Bhavan in the A Wing. It’s a busy spot most days. People coming and going, lots of paperwork on desks, and phones ringing. The Ministry Of Micro Small & Medium Enterprises handles a lot of different things for smaller businesses across the country. Mostly we spend our time dealing with registrations and helping people figure out the rules. It isn’t always fast, but we try to get through the pile. The elevator can be a bit slow in the mornings when everyone arrives. If you walk down the hall, you’ll see our office tucked away. We’ve been here for a while now. The view from the windows isn't much, just other buildings and the city street below. It's a government office, so things follow a certain routine. We drink a lot of tea while we look over files. Sometimes the air conditioning gets a bit too cold, or it stops working right when it’s hot outside. That's just how it is here. Most of the staff has been around for years. We know the regulars who come by to check on their applications. It’s mostly about keeping the records straight and making sure the small shops and makers have what they need from the government side. We don't have fancy furniture or anything. Just desks, chairs, and a lot of computers that sometimes need a restart. It's a steady place to work and we just get on with it.
