Operating out of 2429, Bara Chippiwara, right near Chawri Bazar, is an experience. If you’ve ever been to this part of Delhi, you know how crowded and busy it is. Minerva Paper Packaging Industry is right in the thick of it. We deal with paper and cardboard all day. The smell of paper and ink is everywhere. Our space is tucked away in the narrow lanes where the carts and rickshaws are always moving. It’s a bit chaotic, but there’s a rhythm to it. We aren't a high-tech factory. We use older machines that need a bit of a kick sometimes to keep going. We make boxes and packaging for all sorts of things. My family has been in this kind of work for a long time. The office is just a small corner with a table and a heavy ledger book. We don't use much fancy software. Most of our business is done face-to-face with people who have been coming to this market for decades. It’s loud, it’s dusty, and it’s always busy. We don't have air conditioning that works very well, so the summers are tough. But we stay because this is where the paper trade happens. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to make sure the orders are cut right and packed properly before they head out into the bazaar. It's a rough area, but it's where we belong.
