Mgf Mall Managment operates out of Devli in Delhi. It’s a spot that stays pretty crowded most of the time. Managing a mall isn't exactly what people think it is. It's mostly just dealing with small things that break or making sure the lights are on when they should be. We spend a lot of time walking around and checking on things. Our actual office space is small and usually a bit messy with keys and schedules scattered around. Delhi summers are brutal, so we’re always grateful for the shade when we can find it. There isn't a lot of quiet time during the day because there's always someone needing something fixed or a delivery arriving at the wrong door. We’ve been based in Devli for a bit now and we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the place. It’s not a glamorous job. Some days are just long hours of sitting through meetings that could have been notes. We drink a lot of water and try to stay on top of the maintenance list. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to scramble to get the generator running. It’s just the everyday reality of keeping a big place like this functioning. We don’t have fancy uniforms or a big mission statement. We just try to make sure everything is where it belongs so the day can pass without any major disasters. It is hard work but it keeps us busy through the week.
