We’ve been over at the Sahu Estate on Kamptee Road for a good while now. Most days around here start pretty early before the sun gets too high and makes everything in Nagpur too hot to handle. If you are coming from the center of town, you just head down the road past where the old distillery area is located. It gets quite dusty out this way, but that’s just part of being in the building business. There are usually a few of us in the office handling the paperwork and making sure the different sites have what they need for the day. It isn't a fancy place at all, mostly just some old desks and a lot of rolled-up plans sitting in the corners. We spend a lot of our time on the phone with suppliers or trying to figure out why a delivery is running late again. Sometimes the traffic on Kamptee Road makes moving materials take twice as long as it really should. Our team mostly keeps to themselves, just getting on with the jobs we have lined up. We don’t have a receptionist or anything like that. If you drop by, you might have to wait a minute while someone finishes a call or grabs a file from the back. It gets a bit loud sometimes because of all the trucks, but we've gotten used to it. We just focus on the projects we have in front of us. Most of us are locals from around here.
