Metro Tunneling Group

Our base is over at Qtr. No. 33H in the CPWD Colony in Vasant Vihar. It is a pretty standard spot in New Delhi, and it serves us well for keeping all our things organized. We are part of the Metro Tunneling Group, so we spend most of our hours thinking about what is happening underground. Being in a colony like Vasant Vihar means we are close to the action but still have a place to sit down and figure out the logistics for the next day. It is not some fancy corporate setup with glass walls. It is just where we keep our files and meet up before heading out to the actual sites. Some days are much longer than others, especially when the machinery starts acting up. We are not big on talking about ourselves to anyone. We would much rather just show the work we have already finished. The city keeps growing, and we are just a small part of the effort to keep it moving. Dealing with the Delhi heat is just part of the routine, and we all just get on with it. You will not find us wearing suits or giving big presentations. We are usually in boots and rough clothes, ready to get into the muck. Life here in New Delhi is fast, but tunneling takes a lot of patience. You cannot rush the earth. We have a good group of guys who understand that.
