Our spot is over in B.K. Dutt Colony, right near Lodhi Road in New Delhi. It is a nice area with a lot of history, though our office is just a regular, functional space where we handle capital and investment matters. We don't have those big, shiny signs or a receptionist in a suit. Usually, you just walk in and find us working at our desks. There’s a lot of talk about numbers and market trends throughout the day. The office has big windows, but we usually keep the blinds down to keep the sun out during the hot Delhi afternoons. It’s a bit of a walk from the main road, which makes it a little quieter than other parts of the city. We have a small table where we sit and talk through things, often with a cup of tea that someone just brought in. The shelves are filled with binders and folders that have been there for years. We aren't trying to be the biggest group in the city, we just focus on the clients we have and the work right in front of us. It feels more like a small family business than a big financial institution. Sometimes the printer jams or the AC makes a weird noise, but we just deal with it and keep going. It’s a grounded place where we take the work seriously without all the extra corporate fluff.
