Down in Bandra West, things are always lively. We are Mdl Energy Pvt Ltd, and you can find us at Sangam House. We’re in Room No 3, which isn’t very big, but it’s enough for what we do. The building is on Shirley Road, right near Rizvi College. If you know the area, you know how it gets when the students are out. It’s a bit of a trek to get here sometimes because Bandra traffic is no joke, especially off Cartar Road. We’re also near Abhuday Bank, which makes it easy to give people directions. The room we work out of is pretty basic. We’ve got some files stacked in the corner and a few chairs that have seen better days. Since we’re in the energy sector, we spend a lot of time on the computer or out at meetings. It gets humid here, being so close to the ocean, so the air conditioning is usually running full blast if the power stays steady. We aren't a big corporate office with a view of the sea. We’re just tucked away in a quiet room in a busy building. Sometimes we go down to the local stalls for a snack in the afternoon. It’s a good spot to be, even if it’s a bit cramped. We like being in this part of Bombay. There’s a certain spirit to Shirley Road that makes the workday go by faster. It is just a regular office for regular people doing their daily jobs.
