We set up shop at House Number 53 in Shatabdi Puram. Ghaziabad is a fast place to live and work. There is always a lot of noise and dust from all the growth around here. Our office is just a house, really. It’s easier that way because it feels more like a real place than a cold office building. We do infrastructure work around the U.P. area. It means a lot of travel and long hours on the road. The street outside our place can get pretty jammed up in the evenings. We’ve been here long enough that the neighbors know who we are. We aren't a big fancy firm with a lobby or a receptionist. Usually, whoever is closest to the door just answers it. We spend our days looking over maps and talking to workers. It is a lot of back and forth. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we just sit and wait it out. That's just how it goes here. We don't spend money on fancy rugs or art for the walls. We'd rather spend it on the equipment we need for the sites. It’s an honest way to make a living. We have our hands in a lot of different pots. Keeping track of everything at H. No. 53 is a full-time job. We just keep our heads down and do the work. It is not always easy, but it is what we do.
