Maxvolt Electricals

Our place is over at 6922 Paharganj, in the Nabi Karim area. Maxvolt Electricals is the name we go by. It’s a real busy part of town, very old-school and packed with shops. We handle electrical supplies and equipment. The shop isn't very large, so we have to be clever with how we stack the wires and boxes. It’s often a bit of a squeeze when a few people come in at once. We’ve been here long enough that we know most of the other shopkeepers on the street. It’s a noisy, lively neighborhood. We don't spend money on fancy decorations or marketing. We just have our shelves full of parts and a counter where we talk to customers. Sometimes the power goes out in the area, which is ironic for an electrical shop, but we just use our flashlights and keep going. We don't have a big staff, just a couple of us who know where everything is kept. If you need a specific fuse or a certain type of cable, we usually have it buried somewhere. We don't use a lot of big words or try to impress anyone. We just sell electrical goods and try to make a living like everyone else around here. It’s a simple life, really. We open up in the morning, sweep the front, and wait for the first customer to walk through the door. Usually, there is some construction going on nearby that makes it hard to hear sometimes.
