Mandeep Paints & Polymers

Mandeep Paints & Polymers is tucked away in Kalyan Vihar 192. When you walk in, the first thing you notice is the smell of pigment and chemicals. It’s not a bad smell, just the smell of work. We have cans of paint stacked up to the ceiling in some places. Mixing colors is a bit of an art, even with the machines helping us out. We also handle polymers, which are more for industrial uses that most people don't see. Kalyan Vihar is a decent place to be. We have neighbors who have been here as long as we have. The shop floor is covered in little drops of dried paint from years of samples and spills. We don't bother scrubbing them off because they just show we’ve been busy. Our staff doesn't wear uniforms, just old clothes that they don't mind getting a bit of color on. We spend our days helping people figure out how much paint they need for a room or what kind of coating will stick to a weird surface. It’s a practical kind of job. We don't use big words to describe things. If a paint is going to peel, we tell you. If it’s good stuff, we tell you that too. It’s about being helpful and knowing the products on the shelf at 192. The phone rings a lot, and there’s usually a delivery van parked awkwardly outside while we load it up.
