This branch of Manashi Interiors Pvt Ltd is over in Dwarka, New Delhi. We’re at Flat No. 249 in Pocket 7, Sector 12. Dwarka is quite different from the older parts of Delhi, everything is more planned out here. We handle interior stuff for the apartments in the sectors. It’s mostly woodwork, flooring, and getting the lighting right. My desk is usually covered in wood samples and catalogs. We don’t have a showroom with bright lights. People usually just come to the flat to talk about what they need for their own homes. It’s a quiet pocket of Sector 12, which is nice for working. We keep things pretty simple. If someone wants a new wardrobe or a modular kitchen, we go over, take the measurements, and get to work. I’ve lived in Delhi a long time, so I know how people like their homes to look. We aren't some big corporate design firm. It’s just us, working with local labor and making sure the finish is good enough. We don't make big promises, we just show up and do the job. Sometimes it takes a bit longer than expected because of the traffic or getting materials through the gates, but that’s Dwarka for you. We just keep plugging away at it, one apartment at a time, and hope the elevators are working when we arrive.
