Bridal Lehenga Sarees

Our shop, Bridal Lehenga Sarees, is part of Prem Janki Fashion over at O 45, Prakash Kuti in Majnu Ka Tilla. If you know the area, you know it’s a maze of streets and lots of people. It’s a very lively place to have a business. We have piles of fabrics and sarees all over the place. It’s not the most organized-looking shop, but we know where everything is. We spend most of our time showing different colors and patterns to people who stop in. Majnu Ka Tilla has a very specific feel to it, and we’ve been here long enough to feel like part of the furniture. We don’t have a big marketing team or a website that looks like a magazine. We just have our shop and the clothes we sell. Some days it’s very crowded and we’re constantly unfolding and folding fabric. Other days it’s a bit slower and we can sit and have a tea. We don’t try to act like a high-end boutique from a mall. We’re a local shop in a busy neighborhood. The people who come here usually want something for a wedding or a special event, and we just show them what we have available. It’s a lot of manual work, carrying heavy rolls of cloth and making sure the displays look okay. We just take it one day at a time and keep moving.
