Shoe Place

Shoe Place is located at 313/34 right on Indralok Main Road. It’s easy to find if you’re driving down this way. We’ve got a sign out front, though the paint is peeling a little on the edges. The shop is packed with boxes from floor to ceiling because we try to have enough sizes for everyone. It gets cramped when more than three people are inside at once. I usually sit near the back counter. My brother helps out on the weekends when the crowd picks up. We get a lot of commuters popping in on their way home. The street is always loud with bikes and cars. We don't really do advertisements or sales tactics. We just show you what we have and you can decide. Some days are slow and we just sit and watch the traffic. Other days we're running around looking for a left foot shoe that went missing. The floor is old tile and it's seen better days. Indralok has a lot of shops, so we're just one of many. We keep things simple. If you need boots or just some sandals, we likely have something tucked away. We don't do anything fancy with the display. It's just shoes on racks and in boxes. It’s been our family business for some years. Nothing too complicated about it. We just open the shutters and start the day.
