M. S. Textiles Clothings Inc.

Our place at M. S. Textiles Clothings Inc. is at A-102 in Waever Colony. It is part of the Ashok Vohar area. Living and working here is pretty much the same thing for most of us. We spend a lot of time in the shop. It is not a big glass building. It is a practical space where we handle textiles. We get the fabric in, check it over, and then the cutting starts. There is always lint in the air. You get used to it after a while. We have some old machines that still run better than the new ones we bought last year. The colony is full of people doing similar stuff, so it feels like a big neighborhood of makers. We keep the doors open when it is not too dusty outside to get a bit of a breeze. People walk by and wave. It is a friendly place. We do a lot of different clothing items depending on what the customer asks for. We do not have a big sales pitch. We just show the samples and that is it. Sometimes we have tea together in the afternoon to take a break from the noise. It is a simple life. We make sure the stitching is tight and the colors match up. That is the main thing for us. If there is a mistake, we just fix it. No big fuss. It is just a local textile business trying to stay busy and keep the lights on in Ashok Vohar.
