Lucky Packaging

You can find us at the Jhilmil Industrial area, specifically at No-B2/27 in the Factory Flatted Complex. This part of town is always noisy because of all the different workshops and factories running at once. We handle packaging, so we have machines for cutting and shaping cardboard and paper. Our workshop is usually full of the smell of raw paper and the sound of our machines humming along. It’s not a large space, so we have to be very organized with how we stack the finished products. We’re a small group of workers, and many of us have been here for a long time. There’s no fancy front office here; you just walk into the production area. We don’t have much time for sitting around because there’s always another order to get through. We keep a radio on to help pass the time during the long shifts. Sometimes we get a big rush of orders and we have to work a bit later than usual. We don't have any big mission statements or marketing slogans. We just focus on making sure the boxes are the right size and that they’re strong enough for whatever they’re going to hold. It’s hard work, but it’s what we know how to do. We just take pride in getting the job done right.
