Our place is right in the middle of New Delhi. It’s a busy city, and we are just one small part of it. We go by the name Looking, and that is pretty much what we do all day—looking for opportunities and keeping things moving. The noise from the street is constant, with horns honking and people rushing by, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. The office is small, just enough space for a couple of desks and a place to sit for a minute. We don't have any fancy decorations or corporate stuff on the walls. It’s mostly just calendars and notes pinned up so we don't forget what needs doing next. We start early because the city wakes up fast, and if you aren't on top of things, you get left behind in the rush. We drink a lot of coffee to stay awake during the long afternoons when the heat hits the city buildings. People drop in occasionally to ask questions, but most of our work happens over the phone or just through the connections we’ve made. It’s not a glamorous job by any means, but it keeps us busy and pays the bills. We’ve been in Delhi for a long while now, so we know how to navigate the shortcuts and the daily bureaucracy. It’s just a typical small office life in the capital, trying to make things work without too much fuss. We just take it day by day.
