Helping Hands

Our place is at Plot No. 1/3716 in Ram Nagar Extension. We share the space with Tyagi Sunrise Public School on Loni Road. It’s a bit of a unique setup because we are right there where the kids are coming and going for school. It’s usually pretty loud in the mornings and afternoons when school lets out. Helping Hands is a small operation, and we mostly focus on local community tasks and whatever needs doing in the neighborhood. We don’t have a big staff or a lot of equipment. It’s mostly just a few desks and a lot of lists of things to get done. Working near the school means we have to be careful about the traffic on Loni Road, which can be quite messy at times. The office isn't anything special to look at, just a functional room where we keep our records and meet with people. We’ve been part of this area for a while, and being connected to the school location makes us easy to find for anyone living nearby. Some days are slow and we just catch up on cleaning or paperwork, and other days everyone is rushing around trying to help out with different requests. It’s a very local feel here. We don’t try to be something we’re not; we just provide a hand where it’s needed and try to keep things organized in our little corner of the extension, and we're used to the noise by now.
