We've been at 1801/20 in Nav Durga Market for a good bit now. Bhagirath Palace is always crowded, you know how it is. We spend most of our time sorting through boxes and helping people who walk in looking for specific parts. It’s not fancy here. Just a lot of shelves and some old fans that hum all day. Most days we’re just making sure orders get out or checking what’s back in stock. My cousin helps out sometimes when things get really busy. We don't really have a big office, just this spot packed with inventory. Sometimes the lights flicker but we fix it ourselves. People know us by name mostly. We try to keep things simple. If we have it, we tell you. If we don't, we say so and maybe tell you who might have it. It gets really hot in the afternoons but the tea guy comes around twice a day so that helps us stay awake. We aren't trying to change the world, just keeping the shop running and making sure our regulars get what they need for their projects. It's a lot of manual work, lifting heavy crates and writing down stuff in our old registers. We've seen the market change a lot over the years but our little corner stays pretty much the same. It’s loud outside with all the rickshaws but once you’re inside the shop, it’s just us and the stock. We just take it one day at a time.
