We are over in Malviya Nagar now, at Block L 47A. It’s on the second floor. Malviya Nagar is a busy part of New Delhi, lots of houses and small shops mixed together. Loesche India Pvt. Ltd. fits right in. The office is basically a converted apartment, so it feels a bit like home but with more filing cabinets. We do a lot of the planning and paperwork from this location. There isn’t much to see if you’re looking for a big factory. We leave the heavy lifting to the other sites. Here, it’s about the details. We sit at our desks, drink far too much chai, and try to keep the projects moving. The balcony overlooks the street, so we see the neighborhood waking up and going to sleep. It’s a practical setup. We don’t have fancy signs or a receptionist sitting at a big marble desk. Usually, whoever is closest to the door just opens it. We handle a lot of the technical side of the business here. It requires a lot of focus because the industrial stuff we deal with is complicated. We’ve been here long enough that the neighbors don’t ask what we’re doing anymore. They just know us as the guys who work with the big machines. It is usually a long walk to the metro station from here but we are used to it by now. We stay busy until the sun goes down.
