Lloyds Steel Plant

This is where the actual plant operations are centered, out in Bhugaon, Wardha. We are located at M-8, G-9 in Lloyds Nagar. It's a whole community here, really. You can hear the hum of the machinery almost all the time, even when you're just sitting in the office area. The air usually has that heavy, metallic smell that comes with working in steel. We've got a lot of people coming in and out every day, from engineers to laborers and truck drivers. It’s a busy environment and things can get pretty messy with all the grease and dust from the yard. Our office space is practical and simple. We use it for tracking production and managing the local staff. There are no fancy decorations or polished floors here; we just need a place to sit and keep the records straight. We eat our lunch together and talk about the day's work. It’s a tough business, especially with the heat in Maharashtra during the summer months, but we’re used to it. We don't spend time writing mission statements or anything like that. We just focus on making the steel and getting it out the gate on time. It is straightforward work that requires a lot of attention to detail. Every day brings a different set of challenges, and we just tackle them as they come. We try to keep the coffee pot full because we need it.
