Our shop is right here in Govindpuri, not far from Kalkaji in New Delhi-19. If you know the area, it’s House Number 735. We spend most of our time folding clothes and helping parents pick out things for their kids. It gets pretty loud and hectic during the festival seasons because everyone wants something new for their family. The street outside is always full of people moving around. We’ve been part of the retail scene here for some time. It’s just what we do every day. We open up the doors in the morning, sweep the floor, and start arranging the racks. The clothes come in, they go out, and we try to keep track of everything in between. Sometimes the sizes get mixed up on the hangers, but we fix it when we can. Working in Delhi means you’re always dealing with the heat or the crowds, but being in Govindpuri feels like being part of a real neighborhood. We aren't trying to be anything huge, just a place where you can find kids' wear without too much fuss. People walk in, look around, and usually find what they need. It’s a basic routine. We don’t have fancy signs or big displays, just the stock we have on hand and the space we work in. The fans hum all day to keep us cool while we wait for the next customer to walk through the door. It’s just us doing our job in the city, day after day.
