V. Krishna Garments

Our shop is right on the ground floor at R- 60 in the Export Market. It’s a busy spot in Laxmi Nagar, especially in that main gali of Ramesh Park. V. Krishna Garments isn't a huge place, but we make use of every inch of space we have. There are usually piles of clothes around and someone is always busy cutting or sewing. We’ve been in this market for a long time, so we know most of the neighbors and the tea stall guys. It gets crowded in the alleyways around here, but that’s just how it is. We deal with garments all day long. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we just sit and talk until it comes back. It's a simple life. We don't do fancy advertising or anything like that. People find us because they know where we are or someone told them. We try to keep the place tidy but with all the fabric, it's a bit of a struggle. My brother and I run things, and we have a couple of guys helping us with the heavy lifting. It’s noisy and loud outside our door, but inside we just focus on the clothes. Laxmi Nagar is a good place for a business like ours because everything you need is just a short walk away. We're just here doing our thing every day. We even see the same people walking by twice because of how the streets loop.
