Shagun Creation

Shagun Creation is up on the 2nd floor of No. 76 in Vijay Block. We are right on Vikas Marg in the Laxmi Nagar area. It is a bit of a climb up the stairs, especially when we are carrying heavy rolls of material or boxes, but we are used to it by now. Being on the second floor means we get a little bit of a view of the traffic on Vikas Marg, which is always backed up. Room 201 is where we do most of the work. It is not a huge space, but we have managed to fit in the tables and the machines we need. The walls are painted a plain white, though they could probably use a new coat after all these years. We spend our days cutting and designing things, trying to make the most of the daylight coming through the windows. Laxmi Nagar is a very busy place, so there is always something happening outside. Sometimes it is hard to hear each other over the honking from the street below. We have a small corner where we keep a kettle for making coffee. Most of the time, the floor is covered in scraps of cloth and paper patterns. We try to keep things organized, but when we are busy, it gets messy fast. It is just a regular workplace where we try to do a decent job every day without any fuss. We close up when the sun goes down and head home.
