Larson & Toubro Ltd

We handle the fire protection side of things for Larson & Toubro Ltd. It’s mostly about making sure things don't go wrong at the sites. Every morning we check the gear and go over the schedules for the day. It isn't always exciting work, but someone has to do it. The office isn't anything fancy, just a place where we keep the logs and take the calls. Usually, it's pretty busy here with people coming in and out. We spend a lot of time on our feet. Some days are longer than others, especially when there’s a big project starting up. We don't really do much advertising because our work is mostly internal for the company’s bigger contracts. You won't find a lot of posters or flashy signs outside our door. It’s just us doing the maintenance and the safety checks that keep the projects running without a hitch. If the alarms go off, we are the ones who have to know exactly why. We’ve been at this address for a while now. Most of the staff here have lived in the area for years, so we know the local roads pretty well. It helps when we need to get equipment delivered or move between different sites quickly. The coffee machine in the corner is probably the most used thing in the room besides the telephones. We just try to get the job done and go home to our families like everyone else.
