We are located over on A Chakraborty Road, specifically at 16/8/E in the Khagra area of Murshidabad. It’s a well-known part of West Bengal. Our office for the ECC Division is pretty simple. We spend our days dealing with the logistics of whatever project is currently happening in the district. The road outside can get a bit noisy with the local traffic, but we are used to it by now. The post office is in Khagra, so mail comes and goes pretty easily. We don't have any big corporate slogans or anything like that on the walls. It’s mostly just calendars and notes pinned up so we don't forget what needs doing. The staff here is small, and we all know each other well. We eat our lunch together and talk about the local news or what's happening on the work sites. It’s a practical environment. The building itself has seen better days, but it’s sturdy and keeps the rain out during the monsoon season. We don't really think about being part of a huge company most of the time; we just think about the work on A Chakraborty Road. It’s a straightforward way to earn a living. We keep the doors open to catch the breeze when the weather is right. We often see the same people passing by every day, which gives the place a friendly feel.
