L&T Ltd.Ecc Division

Up here in Sundernagar, Himachal Pradesh, things are a bit different. Our L&T Ltd. Ecc Division spot is located behind the SGS Filling Station. We are working on the 220Kv Pntl project. Being in HP, the views are nice, but the work is tough. The office is basically a functional space where we coordinate everything for the site. It is not a place you would go for a tour. It is full of boots, helmets, and a lot of technical drawings. We are right there near the filling station, so there is a constant sound of trucks and cars coming and going. It is a busy environment. We do not have a lot of time for formalities. When a problem comes up at the site, we deal with it here and then head out. The weather can change fast in the hills, so we are always keeping an eye on the sky. Our team is a mix of locals and people who have moved here for the project. We eat together, work together, and sometimes complain about the cold together. It is a very grounded way of living and working. We are not here to look pretty; we are here to make sure the power infrastructure gets built. It is a lot of logistics and manual checking. We keep it simple and focus on the daily goals. It is a good group of people just trying to get through the task list every single day.
