This part of L&T ECC Ltd is a bit different because we don’t really operate from a fixed public office that people can just visit anytime. JD Chaturvedi is the person in charge of things here, and he handles most of the work through his phone and email. It’s a very direct way of working, focusing more on the actual project needs than on maintaining a big physical space with a lot of staff. We spend a lot of our time on the road or visiting various construction sites across the country to see how things are progressing. When we do sit down to work, it’s usually with a laptop at a small desk wherever we happen to find a quiet corner. It’s a lot of coordination and making sure that the technical specs are being followed by the teams. We don't have a team of assistants or a fancy reception lobby. It’s just direct communication and getting the facts straight so the work continues. This way of working has been our routine for years now, and it seems to get the job done without any extra fuss. We keep track of all the project details on our own.
