Lamp of India

Our place, Lamp of India, is located in Sangam Vihar, right across from Shiv Shakti School. The address is L-1st, 9/1390, near the Asthal Mandir. It’s a bit of a maze around here if you’re not from the neighborhood, but we like it. The shop is usually full of different lighting fixtures and parts. It’s not a big fancy showroom, just a place where we keep our stock and help people find what they need for their homes. We’ve been here for a good bit now, and we know most of the neighbors. Some days are slow, and we just sit and chat, while other days everyone seems to need a lamp fixed at the same time. We don't have a website or any of that. Most people just walk in because they saw the sign or heard about us from someone down the street. It’s a bit dusty because of the road work nearby, but we try to keep the lamps clean. We handle all sorts of lighting stuff, from simple bulbs to more decorative things. It’s a family-run kind of thing, so there’s usually one of us around to help out. We aren't trying to be the biggest shop in Delhi, just a reliable one for the folks in Sangam Vihar. It’s a small space, but it’s ours. We spend our evenings closing up and making sure everything is ready for the next morning.
