Kshitijsarthak Creations

If you ever find yourself walking through Lajpat Nagar-1, you might come across our place at C-89. Kshitijsarthak Creations is what we call it, though most of the locals just know us as the people who do all the creative work in this building. It is a bit of a tight space because we have so many samples and rolls of material lying around. We probably should organize it better, but we always seem to be in the middle of a new project. My brother and I started this a while back. We do a lot of the sketching and cutting ourselves. It’s a lot of hands-on work. We don't have a marketing team or anything like that. If someone likes what we make, they tell their friends, and that is how we stay in business. Lajpat Nagar is a great place to be because everything you need is right around the corner. We get our threads from one guy and our buttons from another just a few blocks away. Sometimes the electricity goes out for a bit, so we just sit outside and talk until it comes back on. It’s a quiet enough life, even with all the sewing machines going on. We just want to make stuff that people actually want to wear without overthinking it. No big egos here, just us working in the shop every day. We hope that the things we make last a long time for the people who buy them.
