J- Style International is based in Lajpat Nagar 1, specifically at D- 59 on the 3rd Floor. Being on the third floor means we get a bit of exercise every day, though there is a lift if you’re carrying anything heavy. The neighborhood is usually quite loud and crowded, but once you get up here, it’s a little quieter. We’ve been in this space for some years now. The office is a bit of a mix of everything. We have desks that don't match and stacks of folders everywhere. It’s not the kind of place you’d see in a magazine, but it’s where we feel at home. We spend a lot of our time on the phone or working on the computers. It’s a small group of us here. We’ve worked together for so long that we don't really need a lot of formal rules. We just know what needs to happen. Lunchtime is usually spent going down to the street to find something to eat from the local vendors. Lajpat Nagar has some great food, so that’s a plus. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit, and we just wait it out or talk about the weather. We aren't a big international corporation with thousands of employees. We’re just a small outfit trying to do things right. It’s honest work and we have gotten to know many people over time. We’ve made a lot of memories in this building over the years.
