L & T Eccd.Igi Air Port New Delhi

Working at the IGI Air Port in New Delhi keeps things pretty chaotic for our team. The L & T Eccd. office is tucked away in the P&M section of the airport grounds. Planes taking off and landing all day long make it quite loud, and the windows often vibrate. It’s a busy environment because the airport never really sleeps, even during the late hours. Our work involves handling the plant and machinery stuff here. A lot of the day is spent checking heavy equipment and updating maintenance logs. Because of all the construction and vehicle movement, the air stays a bit dusty. Security badges are a must to get through the different gates every day. It isn't like a regular office where people can just walk in for a chat. Most of our time is spent in the yard or in the small cabin where the records are kept. Summer on the tarmac gets incredibly hot, and the sun is really strong. We drink plenty of water and find shade under the equipment whenever possible. Everyone on the team is used to the fast pace and the noise. Fancy talk or long meetings don't happen much. It’s just about making sure the machines are ready for the next shift. Delhi traffic makes the commute a mess, so we just get on with it.
