Our office is located at D-17 in the Central Market area of Prashant Vihar. It’s a pretty standard market setup, with plenty of shops and people moving around all day. We’ve been here for quite some time now. The building is older, and you can see the wear on the stairs, but it’s home to us. Being in a central market means there's always something happening outside the window. We hear the vegetable sellers and the sound of cars honking at each other to move. Inside, the office is filled with the smell of paper and sometimes a hint of the rice samples we have lying around. We don’t have a big corporate sign, just a simple one so people know they’re in the right place. The desks are a bit old-fashioned, and the files are stacked high. We spend a lot of our time on the phone or looking at ledgers. It gets busy during the harvest seasons when things really pick up. The staff usually brings lunch from home, and we sit together when we can. It’s a plain, hardworking environment. We don’t go in for anything flashy. Most of our neighbors are small businesses too, so we all know each other’s faces. It’s a good spot to be, even if parking is a nightmare most days. We just do our bit and keep the mill business running from this small corner of the market. There is always a lot to keep track of.
