Ks Traders

Ks Traders is located at Shop No. 6 in Gopal Bhawan, right inside Gali Batashan. If you know Khari Baoli, you know it’s one of the most crowded places you can find. Our shop is small and tucked away in that busy lane. We spend most of our time dealing with the daily trade, moving goods in and out of the building. Gopal Bhawan is an old structure, and you can feel that history when you walk in. There’s always a lot of noise from the carts and the people shouting in the alleyway outside. The air usually smells like spices or whatever else is being traded that day. We don’t have a big staff, just a few of us handling the paperwork and making sure the orders are correct. The desk is always covered in notes and old receipts. It gets really hectic in the mornings when the new stock arrives. We have to be quick to get everything sorted before the lanes get even more blocked. Sometimes it feels like there isn't enough room to breathe, but that’s just how it is in this part of town. We’ve got a small kettle for tea, which is pretty much the only luxury we have here. We stay until the shutters go down late in the evening. It’s hard work and the walls are a bit stained, but we’ve been doing this for years and it’s what we know.
