Kruna Fashion Fab Pvt. Ltd. is right in the heart of Chandni Chowk, which as most people know, is a bit of a maze. We are located at No. 584 on the first floor. You have to find Gali Ghanteswar to get to us, near Karuna Hill. It is one of those old buildings where the stairs are a bit narrow and you can hear everything happening down in the street. The noise from the market is constant—people shouting, carts moving, and the general hum of the city. Being on the first floor gives us a little bit of a break from the ground level chaos, but not much. We’ve been in this spot for quite a while now. The walls are a bit worn and the layout is a little cramped because we have to fit all our materials and desks into the space we have. It’s a very hands-on environment. There is always someone cutting fabric or checking a ledger near the window. We don’t have fancy air conditioning or glass partitions. It’s just a traditional workspace where we put in the hours. Sometimes visitors get lost in the Gali trying to find us, so we usually tell them to look for the landmark signs. It’s a busy life here in Chandni Chowk, but we are used to the pace. We just keep working through the heat and the crowds, day after day, year after year.
