Shrayst Fashion

Shrayst Fashion is located at No. 73/1a Shankar Nagar in Krishna Nagar. This is a residential kind of area, so things are a bit different here compared to the big markets downtown. We’ve got a steady flow of people from the neighborhood who know us by name. The shop is part of the streetscape here, and we’ve tried to make it a place where people feel okay just walking in to look around. We don't have those big glass storefronts you see in the malls. It’s more of a traditional local shop front. Inside, we have our items arranged so they are easy to reach. We spend a lot of time just talking to the people who come in, as many of them are our neighbors. It’s not a fast-paced environment most of the time, though it can get busy in the evenings when everyone is home from work and doing their chores. We don't use any fancy computer systems for everything; a lot of it is still done the old way with notebooks and pens. It works for us and we haven't seen a reason to change it. The street outside is usually quiet except for the occasional car or delivery bike. We like it this way. It allows us to focus on what we are doing without too much distraction. We just keep the doors open and see who comes by. It keeps us busy and we like the local feel.
