Allambagh is a busy part of Lucknow, and it feels like there is always noise from the street coming through the windows. We’ve been working out of this office for years, and it’s filled with old ledgers and maps of different plots. Development in Lucknow is happening fast, but we like to take our time and make sure things are done right. It’s a small team here, so everyone does a bit of everything. One day I might be handling accounts and the next I’m out in the mud looking at a boundary wall. We don't have a marketing department or anyone to write fancy speeches. We just talk to people plainly and tell them what’s possible with their land. The tea guy comes by twice a day, and that’s usually when we have our most important discussions. It's a simple life, really. We deal with the local authorities, sort out the permits, and try to keep our clients updated on what's happening. The dust from the road gets into everything, but that’s just Lucknow for you. We’re just a local business trying to make a living by helping people settle into their own spaces and get their paperwork finished.
