You can find us at U-145 in Sharkarpur. It’s one of those parts of the city where the buildings are all squeezed together and the streets are never quiet. Our office is pretty straightforward. We have some desks, some chairs, and a lot of blueprinted papers spread out. Construction is a messy business, so we don't bother with fancy carpets or expensive paintings. We are usually out on sites anyway, so this place is mostly for catching up on the paperwork and taking a breather. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we haven't found the time yet. We talk more about cement and bricks than we do about business strategies. It’s a local operation. We know the people around here and they know us. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit by the window and talk until it comes back on. It’s not a high-pressure environment in the office, even if the work outside is tough. We don't have a formal dress code. Most of us just wear what’s comfortable for a long day. It is a simple life. We deal with the city's heat and the dust every day. There is no point in pretending we are something we are not. We just build things and try to do right by the people who hire us. It's a long road sometimes, but it is okay.
