Kmb-Era Jv Metro Projects(Cut & Cover Tunnel)

We are currently set up at Wz-380 in Shakur Pur Village. It’s a busy spot in Delhi34. Being part of the Kmb-Era Jv Metro Projects(Cut & Cover Tunnel) means we are right in the middle of all the tunnel work. This specific place is for the cut and cover tunnel part of the job. It gets very dusty around here with all the construction going on. The village area of Shakur Pur is quite crowded. Narrow lanes and lots of people moving about. Our office is practical. We have maps on the walls and plenty of boots near the door. It’s not a place for fancy clothes. You’ll mostly see us in work gear. The noise from the machinery is something we’ve grown used to. It’s the sound of progress, I guess. We take our lunches at the local shops nearby. The food is simple but good. Working on metro projects in a city like Delhi is a big task. This site at Wz-380 is where we coordinate things. It’s a bit cramped sometimes but we make it work. The locals know us by now. We’ve been in Shakur Pur for the duration of this phase. It’s a unique place to work. You see the old village life clashing with the new metro lines. Delhi34 is a bit out of the way for some, but for us, it’s the center of everything right now. We just keep our heads down and focus on the tunnel work every day.
