Sachin Impex Trading

Sachin Impex Trading is right in the heart of Khari Baoli, at No. 613 Katra Ishwar Bhawan. If you’ve ever been to this area, you know how packed the lanes are. The air is always thick with the smell of spices and tea. Our space is tucked inside one of the older buildings. It’s got high ceilings and narrow doorways that make moving large boxes a real challenge. We don't have much in the way of decoration. The walls are mostly covered with calendars and old lists. It’s a bit dark inside, but we know where everything is. We spend most of our day talking to traders and checking the quality of the goods coming in. There’s a lot of shouting across the hall to get things moved. It’s not a quiet or organized office like you see on TV. It’s chaotic and busy. We drink a lot of tea to stay focused. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just keep working by the light from the street. We’ve been operating out of this same spot for a long time. The floorboards creak when you walk on them. We don't use any fancy software to track things, just a ledger and a pen most of the time. It’s an old-school way of doing business, but it’s the only way we know. It keeps things simple and we don't have to worry about computers crashing. It's just us and the goods.
