Our office for Kk Trexim Pvt. Ltd. is on the 3rd floor of Katra Ishwar Bhawan in Khari Baoli. If you’ve ever been to Khari Baoli, you know it’s one of the most crowded and vibrant spice markets you’ll ever see. Getting up to the 3rd floor can be a bit of a workout, especially on days when the stairs are crowded with people carrying heavy sacks of goods. Katra Ishwar Bhawan is an old building with a lot of character and plenty of history in the walls. Our space at No. 31 is where we handle the trading and the paperwork. It’s a bit of a climb, but once you’re up here, it’s a little quieter than the street level. We have desks piled with papers and samples of the things we trade. The smell of spices from the market below drifts up through the windows all day long. It’s not a modern glass-and-steel office building. It’s an old-school trading spot where business is done with a lot of talking and phone calls. We don’t use any marketing fluff because we don’t need it. The people we work with know where we are. We drink a lot of tea and stay focused on the shipments coming in and out of the city. It’s a busy, cramped, and noisy way to work, but we wouldn’t have it any other way. That’s just life in Khari Baoli. We’ve been at this address for a long time.
