You can find us at No. 6037 in Naya Bhans, which is part of the Khari Baoli area. If you know this part of the city, you know it’s crowded and narrow. Fashion Biz International has been operating out of this small space for quite a while. We are surrounded by spice traders and all sorts of other shops. The smell of the market is everywhere. Our office is tucked away and you have to navigate through a lot of people to get to us. It’s not a place for someone who likes quiet. We deal with a lot of international shipping and paperwork, but we do it all from this old building. The walls are thick and the stairs are steep. We have piles of ledgers and samples everywhere. It’s a lot of work keeping track of everything in such a busy environment. We don't have fancy air conditioning or modern furniture. It’s just old desks and a lot of hard work. Sometimes deliveries get delayed because the streets are too narrow for the trucks, so we have to use handcarts. That is just how things work here in Khari Baoli. We are used to the chaos and we just get on with our business every day. Sometimes we stay late when a shipment is coming in from overseas. It's just part of the deal when you work in this market. We have a lot of tea and just keep going until the work is finished.
