Khanna Industry

Khanna Industry is run by Rukum Pal Singh and his family out in Chhotu Ram Nagar, which is part of the Jhajjar district. The address is a bit long, mentions Tikri Bodar and Part A Line Par, but basically, we are just a local operation here in Haryana. It is a very grounded kind of place. We don’t have a receptionist or a lobby. You usually just walk in and find one of us working on the floor or talking on a mobile phone near the gate. We do a lot of small-scale industrial work and it is mostly based on the needs of the people around here. The road outside can be pretty rough, and we get a lot of tractors passing by. It is a noisy place but we are used to it. My father, D.R. Singh, started things off and we just keep it going every day. We don’t have a mission statement or anything like that. We just try to make sure the orders are ready when we said they would be. Sometimes we have issues with the power or getting materials delivered on time, but that is just part of living and working in a rural-industrial area like this one. We drink a lot of tea and talk to the neighbors while we work. It is a simple life and we are just glad to have steady work in the district. We stay busy from morning till late.
