Kora Enterprises

Kora Enterprises is located in the new basement of Vardhan House. We are at Shop No. 14, right near Kashmiri Gate. Being in a basement means it stays a bit cooler than the street level, which is a relief during the Delhi summers. You have to walk down a set of narrow stairs to get to us, and the lighting down here is a bit dim, but we like the quiet. Up on the street, it’s all chaos with the metro station and the buses, but down here, it’s just us and our work. We have a lot of metal shelving units and a couple of old computers that have seen better days. The walls are a bit damp in the corners during the monsoon, but we’ve learned how to deal with that. We handle a lot of different things here, and the space is usually filled with crates and half-opened boxes. It’s not the most organized place in the world, but we have our own system that works for us. Most of the people who come down here are regulars who have been doing business with us for a while. We usually have the radio playing softly in the background to fill the silence. It’s a small, tight-knit setup. We don’t have any big signs or flashy lights. If you know where Vardhan House is, you can find us. We just show up, do our tasks, and try to stay out of the heat until the day is over.
