Meghdoot Telecommunication

Our place, Meghdoot Telecommunication, is at 1/29 Nicholson Road. We are situated behind the Firestone Building, right behind the Firestone Building actually, near Kashmere Gate. It’s a bit of an old area, and the building we are in has seen better days, but it serves us well enough. We handle a lot of mobile phone stuff, mostly repairs and selling accessories. The shelves are packed with chargers, headsets, and covers that we’ve collected over the years. It’s often a bit dark inside until we turn on all the tube lights. Nicholson Road is always full of vehicles, so there’s a constant hum of engines and horns in the background. We usually have a pile of broken phones on the small worktable that we work through one by one. It’s a lot of sitting and looking at tiny parts under a desk lamp. Sometimes people come in just to ask for directions because we’re tucked so far back behind that Firestone Building. We don’t mind. The floor is made of old stone and it’s seen a lot of foot traffic over the years. We don't have a fancy sign, just the name written above the door. Most of our customers are locals or people who work in the auto parts shops around here. When it rains, the water sometimes pools near the entrance, and we have to put out an old mat. It’s just a regular shop where we do our daily work.
