If you go down to the Kamal Motor Market at Punja Sharif, you will find Bharat Trading Company at No. 222/12. We are right in the middle of the Kashmere Gate area which is always a bit chaotic with all the motor parts and people running around. Our shop is one of many in the market but we’ve been in this specific spot for a good while. It’s a small space crammed with all sorts of things for cars and motors. You have to watch your step because there are often boxes stacked up in the aisles. We spend most of our hours talking to mechanics or other traders who are looking for specific parts that are hard to find. It’s a dusty place and it gets really crowded during the peak hours of the day but that’s just the nature of the motor market. We don't have any fancy air conditioning or big signs, just the name on the door and a lot of stock on the shelves. Kashmere Gate is a tough place to navigate if you aren't used to it but for us it is just where we go to work every morning. We know the other guys in the market and we help each other out when we can. It’s a long day usually but we like the pace of the trading world even if it is a bit loud and messy. We just open up, sell what people need, and then close up when the sun goes down.
